New Delhi: Cyclone 'Bulbul' is likely to take awe-inspiring form over the next 6 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, the storm is likely to have a severe impact on the coastal areas of Odisha and West Bengal. While the NDRF team has been deployed in both the states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the other hand is paying special attention to the matter.
GK Das, an official of the Meteorological Department, said that the 'Bulbul' cyclone is 930 km south-southeast of Kolkata and is likely to become more intimidating by Thursday night. However, on Saturday it will become more powerful and reach Odisha and West Bengal. Which would make the situation in the sea more adverse. With this in mind, fishermen have been instructed to return to the coast by Thursday evening and not to sea until the next instruction is received.

GK Das, a meteorological officer, said the storm was likely to hit north-north-west across West Bengal and Bangladesh's seaside. According to a meteorologist, the maximum speed of a hurricane can be 115 to 125 kilometers per hour and the hurricane will be 140 kilometers per hour in the center of the storm.
